Award-winning discount food retailer Aldi, is bringing forward a planning application for a revamped food store on Bristol Road, Selly Oak.

The new store, which would be built on the existing site, would be turned by 90 degrees to create a new glass frontage on Bristol Road. Vehicle access would continue to be from Dale Road with pedestrian access available from Bristol Road.

Our proposals will create new jobs in addition to those that would be retained from the existing store, with further job opportunities supported via construction and through the supply chain.

As part of its commitment to community consultation, Aldi has arranged a virtual public exhibition to provide you with an opportunity to view the draft plans for a revamped discount food store and give your feedback on the proposals, prior to the submission of a full planning application to Birmingham City Council.
